Saunas are becoming one of the more popular home upgrades we get called for - and it makes sense. People want the wellness benefits at home without a gym membership. But what a lot of homeowners don't realize is that a sauna install isn't just plug-and-play. It needs proper wiring, the right circuit setup, and someone who knows what they're doing.

This was a full residential wiring job for a TheraSauna infrared unit installed in a garage. The sauna itself is a solid, full-size unit - but getting it powered up safely was the real work. We ran conduit from the exterior panel all the way through to dedicated outlet boxes inside, making sure everything was protected, clean, and up to code.

The details matter on a job like this. Conduit has to be properly secured, fittings have to be tight, and the outlets need to be the right type for the load. Cut corners on any of that and you've got a safety problem down the road. We don't cut corners.

That's really what residential electrical services come down to - doing the work right so the homeowner never has to think about it again. Whether it's a specialty install like this or a more straightforward wiring job, the approach is the same. Plan it out, do it properly, and leave the space better than you found it.
