Outdoor Barrel Sauna Gets a Safe, Weather-Ready Electrical Setup

A lot of homeowners don't realize how much goes into powering an outdoor sauna. It's not a simple plug-in situation. You're dealing with high-draw equipment, outdoor exposure, and safety requirements that demand the work be done right - not just done fast.

This was a cedar barrel sauna setup with a Harvia electric heater inside. That heater pulls serious amperage, and it's sitting in a wood enclosure outside. The wiring has to be sized correctly, protected from the elements, and tied into a proper disconnect. We handled all of that - running conduit up through a dedicated post-mounted weatherproof enclosure right at the unit so the disconnect is clean, accessible, and built for outdoor conditions.
